Siesta Campers is one of the best furnished vans rental company in Portugal. It offers a variety of camping cars, such as the vintage Volkswagen. The cars date back to the 1970-1980, but don’t worry the mechanic has been revamped!
We say that the best stories start in a Westfalia! Siesta Campers is the fruit of the union between their love of retro and their passion for road trips. Loyd, the founder, spent all his childhood vacations on board a 1971 combi Volkswagen, throughout Europe with his parents. It has forged his desire for freedom and discoveries.
Later, with his better half. Claire, they spent many years discovering the world’s wonders. Claire and Loyd have designed their first van in 1996 based on a model of a Commer from the 1960s. Their passion for vintage cars and their relentless pursuit of unexplored routes brought them to found their home and company in Portugal.
This boundless passion brought Siesta Campers to create the most modern and comfortable furnished vans on the market, while respecting the culture and history of the original combis.
